With an astounding 70 degree weather day for the first practice of the year, we had FIFTY brave combatants make their way to the debris strewn fields of Broknarra's crown property. The day started off slowly with only a four man battle royale, in which Lord Brok emerged victorious.

Despite the odds against them, the Broknarran Free Company swept the rounds of the fight, proving that the elders still had some fight left in them.

The day's faction points were split between The Egyptians who stayed clear of the fray as the Dragons finished off mighty Sparta, only to decimate the survivors as directed by Ra, Lord Brok and the Pharaoh Thelia. Acadian Rage seized a faction point with the Assistance of the Men of Northern Lights. Dragon Storming the Mountain were able to lay claim as well to a faction point.

Following the Trial run of the Provincial Warlord Campaign over the last several weeks, the bidding for the new season closed with the high bidders being Arron Kylech and Apokryphan Warlord Akuma, in what promises to be six months of intense battles. High Captain Arron claimed the first point proving tat though only recently arrived to Broknarra he seeks glory and accolades.











Chancellor of the Ward, Lord Brok, continued his new program of fostering individual training time during the day to ensure the Broknarra sustains the optimal fighters in this region.





Some while later, the factions combined into two enormous realms and battled ferociously for some time.





As the Crown begun its transition from the pate of exiting Lord Tragos, this widely popular nobleman was recognized by Presiding High Chancellor, Lord Tristin du Navarre, with the tranditional Silver Circlet augmentation to his Lord’s belt. All those who have previously worn the Crown are distinguished in this manner within MELEE.




As the day wore down, there was certainly one more matter that was needed to be taken care of, the coronation of our new Duke, Thelia. Lord Thelia sword the requisite oath to uphold the laws of the land, as conveyed by the High Chancellery, and to actively see to Broknarra’s continued prosperity. Officiating, Presiding High Chancellor Tristin first administered the accolade then finally placed the Crown on Thelia’s brow; kneeling thereafter along with all citizens present. Duke Thelia then signed the following affirmation document:












We now welcome Broknarra’s Ninth Crown and Fourth Duke, Lord Thelia. Long life, Thelia!
